Accessible Media Inc.: Interview with Dr. Archer

In March, Dr. Archer spoke with AMI (Accessible Media Inc.) to discuss dental care and elder abuse. Dr. Archer discussed how elder abuse comes in many forms, including being denied basic dental care by negligent caregivers. A federal program, Dental Elder Abuse Response (D.E.A.R), was initiated to help create awareness of the problem. Dr. Archer discussed her work in helping seniors maintain proper dental care, her involvement with D.E.A.R and her advice on how to recognize and prevent such abuse and neglect.
